Leadership role and responsibility in implementing change in organization
- Organizational culture is the primary source of resistance to change a leader should understand the organization culture and then plan the change process.
- The use of value based management model 0f 7-s model can be helpful in implementation of change by coordinating 7-s namely, shared value, strategy, structure, system, staff, style and skill. (MC Kinsey’s 7-s framework)
- Leadership should determine clear decision making framework to ensure the organization has means and resources to achieve its goals.
- Analyzing the change process through a experimental project with the five factors such as project duration, the project teams performance ,integrity of management commitment, employee commitment and employee effort required to cope with the change that are essential to be implemented.
- Change can be implemented through organizational transformation by ensuring succession planning initiatives are closely aligned to leadership and development and organizational vision
- Ensuring that succession planning process occurs in such a way that it is in itself a transforming experience.
Drawbacks of implementation of changes in the organization.
Some the reasons why change initiatives fail to achieve their objectives are:
- Absence of clear definition of what actually constitute organizational success
- Lack of knowledge about changing situation in business environment.
- Lack of integration between succession planning and leadership with organizational vision.
- Toxic leadership performance.
- Lack of planning premises and constraints, inadequacy of resources and means to implement the planned change process.
Toxic leadership and organization
Toxic /Bad leadership is one of the main reason we can point out for the failure to implementation of change in the organization. “A Toxic leader is someone who has responsibility over organizations employees but abuses the leader –follower relationship by leaving the organization in a worse condition than when he/she first found them”. (Barbara Kellerman)
Barbara Kellerman analyzes Toxic/bad leadership into seven different types:
(1)Incompetent (2) Rigid (3) Intemperate (4) Callous (5) Corrupt (6) Insular (7) Evil.
Toxic leadership can effect organization in change implementation by following way:
- Lack of definition of vision, strategy and business plan.
- Inappropriate execution of the vision, plan strategy and business plan.
- Lack of team building skills and business ethics.
- Lack of sponsoring, supporting, measuring results.
- Destruction of organizational culture, values and employees trust and confidence.

do you know where granny beggar beg for doughnut ? come to ganesha road, grannies at there sometime beg people for doughnuts. why they beg doughnuts ? maybe because, they cant eat money. Its a new way of beggar marketing. it more elegant. and its very suitable with people obligation. to feed the unwealthy people, not to give them money by free. it educate both of people and beggar. giving food, is always make us happier than giving money. food, is a fact, of thing, that can be ate. money, is a symbol for greed. food for brotherhood.
granny beggars happy when we take them picture with camera. they will smile, and after that, ask us for return. lol. where are the goverment officers ? seat are too enjoyable to be left. people like soft seat. right after they sit on the soft one, reality turn into movies, i think. how about give the beggars seat ? they should feel how enjoyable the sit is.
some people should warn them, to pray. they act around the mosque, but i havent see one of them take a pray when the azan call.
they dont have a blog or facebook, in my humble opinion. it will be great if some people create one account for them. so they can enjoy internet athmosphere and start to do online jobs, maybe.
some of the beggars, the grandchildren of granny beggars, have a right to have good education and health. if you are a goverment officer, please, treat one of granny’s beggar grandchildren as your adopted children.
owwwwwwwwww, i forgot one thing. good thing like that would be too hard to be true ? because of what ? because this is indonesia . lol

Heart, can be really really down, when we face unbelievable things in our life. Heart, can be so anger, when we feel something not like we want. Heart, can be so greedy and arrogant. Unmanage heart create many problems for our life. A need to other human, make us so weak.

there is a new mall in tamansari road bandung, called Balubur mall. Its located beside the pasopati highway.
balubur mall is a new mall that contain moved stores from old balubur market, food court and people mall’ stuff like pasar baru mall.
balubur mall provide what traditional market has, and what small mall has. you can buy kelontong stuff here, meat and vegetables, books, dvds, fashion, etc here with familiar price.
balubur mall can be an alternative place to hangout for college students that live near there. in my experience to go there, parking lot tax for 1,5 hours spent there is free
maybe it has flat parking lot tax. its really good.
that mall have a tunnel in the middle part of the mall that crossed by taman hewan street. so, people from pelesiran part can cross to panca2 streets without crossing the crossroads by that tunnel.
its a new mall. do you interesting to build a store there ?
